Process & quality
Deep process expertise at the core of every development
Quality starts with the raw materials. Every incoming material is carefully analysed for composition, particle size and consistency before entering production. Throughout manufacturing, laboratory tests are continuously performed to monitor material properties and identify variations at an early stage. This ensures that our products meet defined quality requirements and provide a reliable basis for further processing.

Our ceramic technicians have extensive, practical knowledge of the production parameters that influence the final appearance and properties of a ceramic product. This includes firing temperature, soaking time, setting method, kiln atmosphere and other process conditions. They understand how these parameters interact with the ceramic body and coating to influence colour development, surface appearance, hardness and other final product characteristics.
This deep process knowledge enables our technicians to precisely adapt new colours to the individual production conditions of each customer — taking into account the specific kiln, firing cycle, body composition, atmosphere and setting method rather than relying on standardised laboratory conditions.
From initial development through upscaling, industrial trials and full series production, our team continuously monitors, controls and adjust the process where required. This close technical control ensures that developments transfer reliably from the laboratory to industrial production and deliver consistent results under our customers‘ production conditions.
This combination of technical expertise and continuous process control allows us to ensure consistent quality, batch after batch.
